Amber Hord is a Director and digital strategist at Bully Pulpit International (BPI). She advises clients navigating complex reputational challenges and builds campaigns that earn attention, shift perception, and drive meaningful change.
Prior to joining BPI, Amber led client teams at a boutique public affairs agency, crafting integrated communications strategies for Fortune 500 companies, national trade associations, and advocacy organizations. Her work included multi-million-dollar persuasion campaigns and large-scale grassroots activations that drove hundreds of thousands of messages to policymakers.
Before her agency work, Amber served as Deputy Regional Director for Senator Chuck Schumer in her hometown of Rochester, New York, where she supported regional media relations and constituent services.
Amber holds bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology and English Literature from McGill University. She is based in Washington, D.C., just a stone’s throw from Rock Creek Park, where she spends as much time as possible hiking and biking.
