Bully Pulpit Interactive Welcomes Former Teammates Back To BPI As Media Director And Director In D.C. Office
Bully Pulpit Interactive (BPI) is excited to share that two former team members have returned to BPI. Eric Reif has joined as a Media Director, where he will oversee advertising strategy and planning for BPI clients. Jane Hughes has started as a Director, where she will run a client strategy team and craft marketing campaigns for some of the firm’s top political, corporate and advocacy clients. Both Reif and Hughes are returning to BPI after time spent at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Maggie Hassan’s 2016 U.S. Senate campaign, respectively.
“Eric and Jane remember the early days of BPI and understand our culture and DNA in political marketing,” said Andrew Bleeker, BPI President. “We are excited to have them re-join us to lead our media and marketing strategy and apply their deep set of best practices to our clients.”
As BPI continues to build integrated strategies that span across channels and bring together the art of storytelling with the precision of targeted media, Reif’s experience in both paid media and content will contribute to that industry evolution. Reif previously served as the Grassroots Donor Director and Email Director at the DNC, where he managed one of the largest email advocacy and fundraising programs in Democratic politics and raised more money online for the DNC in 2016 than ever before in the Party’s history. Prior to that, Reif led paid media engagements for public affairs and government clients at Powell Tate/Weber Shandwick. He began his career at BPI helping launch President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign online and later helped lead the digital marketing program at Obama for America.
Hughes returns after serving as the Digital Director on Governor Maggie Hassan’s successful run for U.S. Senate campaign in New Hampshire, where she ran the most successful online fundraising program for a Senate campaign in the history of ActBlue. Before joining Hassan’s campaign, she served as the Deputy Digital Director at EMILY’s List, overseeing their rebranding efforts, acquisition advertising and email fundraising. Hughes was previously an Account Executive at BPI during the 2012 election cycle, where she managed online ad campaigns for both political and non-political clients.
Reif and Hughes bring a wide range of skills and expertise that will enhance BPI’s ability to create and execute integrated media strategies and campaigns for its clients.
