Claire Koeneman is a partner at Bully Pulpit Interactive, based in the agency's Chicago office. An award-winning corporate communications leader, Claire's 20+-year career has spanned from financial communications to crisis counseling to global client management.
She joined BPI from Hill+Knowlton Strategies, where she was Executive Vice President, head of the Central region, and US practice leader for financial communications. In these roles, Claire served as a strategic advisor to C-suite executives and Boards of Directors. She is known for her sophisticated advice, refined people skills and significant expertise in corporate, IR, crisis and reputation management communications. Prior to joining H+K, Claire served as President of Financial Relations Board, where she partnered with senior management teams to help maximize their valuation and enhance their corporate reputation.
An experienced spokesperson, Claire has won numerous awards, including “IR Professional of the Year” from PRNews, the Stevie “Best Executive in a Services Business” Award and PRWeek’s “Investor Relations Professional of the Year.” She holds an MBA in Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School and a BA from Smith College. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Lexington Realty Trust (NYSE: LXP) where she chairs the Nominating & Corporate Governance committee. Claire is also a member of numerous leadership organizations including the Economic Club of Chicago, WCD, NACD and the Leader Council of Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. Additionally, she serves as a Diplomat to the Principality of Monaco in its Honorary Consular Corps.
