Nicole Tidwell is the Managing Director of Business Development at Bully Pulpit International (BPI), where she leads the agency’s new business efforts. She works across teams to connect organizations with the right mix of strategy, communications, and creative to help them navigate complex public, political, and reputational challenges. Before joining BPI, Nicole helped launch the Antibiotic Resistance Action Center at George Washington University, leading strategic communications and advocacy that elevated antibiotic resistance from a niche issue to a global public-health priority. She previously managed the Antibiotic Resistance project at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where she drove campaigns that increased public awareness, forged partnerships across public, private, and academic sectors, and helped secure the adoption of landmark stewardship policies and programs within the marketplace.
Earlier in her career, Nicole was a senior program manager at the Communications Consortium Media Center, leading initiatives to advance global reproductive health and rights and economic justice for low-income workers. She also consulted on education programs supporting African American children with learning disabilities.
Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in international relations and economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
