Tyler Mintz

As Head of Design at Bully Pulpit International (BPI), Tyler Mintz leads with a hands-on, multidisciplinary creative perspective, merging design with brand strategy. With a career spanning over 20 years, he has evolved from a graphic designer into a creative leader who transforms business objectives into meaningful visual and textual experiences. Previously the SVP and Head of Design at MSL (Publicis Groupe), Tyler has held creative leadership roles across the industry, winning accolades from Cannes, The Webby Awards, and PR Week. He has led design and creative initiatives for Fortune 100 clients including Facebook, Eli Lilly, The Coca-Cola Company, AMEX, P&G, and Cadillac.

Tyler holds a master’s degree in design from the School of Visual Arts and a B.S. from Drexel University. He is a true Creative Generalist, finding equal satisfaction in architecting complex identity systems and directing high-concept broadcast campaigns. Whether teaching at the School of Visual Arts—where he served on the faculty for nine years—or working in the studio, his work is recognized for its aesthetic standard and narrative depth. He describes himself as a “wanna-be writer,” often blurring the lines between copy and design to build systemic brand voices that resonate in The Daily Heller, Print Magazine, and GOOD Magazine.

Outside of the studio, Tyler is likely playing music, playing soccer, or cooking food for his family. He currently resides in Maryland with his wife, twin boys, and their dog, Billie.
