With a career spanning the intersection of traditional advertising and public affairs, she specializes in crafting narratives that don’t just reach audiences—they move them. Whether navigating the complexities of Fortune 500 brands or the fast-paced world of advocacy, she brings a pioneering spirit to every brief. Her work has been consistently recognized on the world’s most prestigious stages, earning accolades from the Cannes Lions, the ADC Awards, the Clios, Effies, the Webby Awards and OneShow as well as a nomination for Creative Director of the Year from Creative Pool. 

A writer at heart, Betsy’s early career included a position as a writer at Hallmark Cards, where she refined and developed a foundation in emotional storytelling that she still applies to modern brand challenges today. This blend of creative rigour and strategic insight has allowed her to lead diverse business lines across multiple industries. Betsy is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. Committed to the future of the industry, she has served as a judge for the Effies network for multiple years and is deeply passionate about mentoring the next generation of creative talent. 

Betsy lives in New York City with her husband, Colin. On weekends, you can find her in the woods of Vermont, where she applies her persuasion skills to convince everyone that “one more hike” is a great idea.
