Goldman Sachs: Accelerate growth for UK small businesses

To raise the profile of 10KSB UK’s brand, BPI developed and launched Generation Growth, a campaign which positions Goldman Sachs as an influential champion for small businesses across the UK.
The program leverages owned and earned content to drive conversations with stakeholders across the small business ecosystem, from policymakers to media. Proprietary research revealed a clear path to reigniting growth among the UK’s 5.5 million SMEs and the potential for 22,000 more high-performing firms, £106 billion in revenue, and 88,000 new jobs. These insights, along with a small business manifesto, created the basis for the launch of Generation Growth, an event which brought together more than 250 business leaders, members of the enterprise ecosystem, press, and policy influencers.
Outcomes
Launched The Growth Agenda, which presents a series of 18 practical proposals and policy recommendations by small businesses, for small businesses in the UK.
Introduced Generation Growth around the UK with a series of “City Summits” in Birmingham, with the Mayor of the West Midlands, and Manchester, with investor and entrepreneur Piers Linney.
Executed a series of policy-focused roundtable discussions that brought together leading academics with small business stakeholders and provided insights for further evidence-led thought pieces.
Earned coverage across the UK’s top tier media, including the BBC Today Programme, 5Live’s Wake Up to Money, Ian King Live on Sky News, Bloomberg Radio and The Times newspaper.
