Sarah Zukowski is a senior director at Bully Pulpit Interactive (BPI), where she leads the firm’s climate and environment strategic communications work.
Sarah has helped her clients, including Bloomberg Philanthropies, PEPSICO, and Climate Mayors, plan and execute campaigns that range from international events to local community roundtables by managing partner and surrogate networks and securing coverage in major international, national, and local outlets. During the 2020 election cycle, she helped run BPI's successful efforts to combat online disinformation for the Biden-Harris campaign.
Sarah came to BPI after serving on Capitol Hill and on multiple political campaigns in various communications roles, most recently as head Speechwriter and Deputy Communications Director for Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.). Previously, Sarah was Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.).
Before the Hill, Sarah worked on the communications teams for three consecutive campaigns: Wendy Davis' 2014 Texas gubernatorial race, Senator Cory Booker's 2013 New Jersey Senate campaign, and President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign.
Sarah is an avid swimmer, attempting to relive her college swimming glory days at her alma mater, Kenyon College.
