BPI Group taps Jo-ann Robertson as President of Europe to lead European and transatlantic growth
September 12, 2025
BPI Group, a leading global communications and public affairs agency, today announced that Jo-ann Robertson, currently CEO, Global Markets, for Ketchum, will be joining BPI Group in a newly-created role of President, Europe and Transatlantic Growth Leader, starting in 2026.
This appointment underscores BPI Group’s commitment to expanding its global footprint and strengthening its European operations. Robertson, a seasoned communications executive, will be instrumental in leading BPI’s growth strategy across Europe and maximising cross-sell opportunities between Europe and North America.
Robertson joins BPI Group following 14 years at Ketchum, where she leads the agency’s operations across Europe, Canada and Brazil. Her extensive experience in international markets and her proven track record of driving business growth will be critical in developing innovative strategies for BPI Group. She will also focus on growing current client relationships, developing new key European clients for all markets, and customising offers across geographies.
“BPI has grown by attracting driven, passionate and skilled leaders to accelerate our vision and growth. I’m hugely excited to be working with such a dynamic leader as Jo-ann, who has truly global experience, deep client relationships, and a track record of delivering meaningful growth,” said Jeremy Galbraith, CEO Europe, BPI Group. “She is an exceptional leader who is recognised across our industry for her unparalleled strengths. Through innovation, intelligence, and campaign-winning mindset, our clients and firm are going to benefit from Jo-ann’s leadership. I can’t wait for her to join so we can get started on the next phase of disruption and bold growth.”
Robertson previously held various leadership positions at Ketchum, including CEO of Ketchum UK (2017) and Deputy CEO of Ketchum UK (2015). She initially joined the Omnicom firm in 2011 as UK MD of corporate and public affairs, following an eight-year tenure at Weber Shandwick. In 2023 Robertson was recognised for her industry leadership as the president of the PR Lions jury at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, and was most recently named to the Women in Leadership Power List 2025 by Management Today.
“Jo-ann’s appointment underlines our vision, ambition, and commitment as we accelerate BPI’s growth globally, and specifically in Europe. She is a perfect fit for continuing to serve the most impactful global leaders as we deliver the industry-leading work that BPI is renowned for. Her reputation and achievements in the market globally speak for themselves, but her unique combination of modern approach, broad multinational experience and a style you can’t help but love truly set her apart. Having acquired three market-leading businesses in Europe already, Jo-ann joining us signals the next chapter in our growth drive,” said Andrew Bleeker, CEO and Founder of BPI Group.
Robertson will be based in London, and will continue to maintain a high external profile as a leader of BPI Europe, sharing the agency’s point of view with key audiences around the world. As part of BPI Group’s global executive leadership team, Robertson will play a key role in shaping the agency’s strategic direction.
BPI Group has acquired BOLDT, Message House and Seven Hills in Europe over the past two years, and also appointed former White House Communications Director, Ben LaBolt, as Global President this April.
